3D Anamorphic Billboard

How we helped Utah-based Unrivaled create an immersive 3D anamorphic billboard moment for a pharmaceutical company

Project Summary

Client: As part of the client's confidentiality agreement, we can't show the actual project. So we've used a similar image from a similar 3D anamorphic client project.

Audience:
Industry leaders, healthcare administrators, doctors, nurses, potential and current partners

Budget:
Enterprise-level, fully custom

Business Challenge

It's especially hard for a pharma company to stand out. Traditional TV advertising doesn't cut it, as most competitors look the same. They had exceptionally standout products, but were searching for a way to break through the noise and tell its story so they stood out from the competition.

Enter Unrivaled. They proposed a 3D anamorphic billboard experience to the client, but their usual vendor couldn't make it work.

We stepped in on short notice and created an asset that has served multiple uses for the client. From a huge tradeshow extravaganza to its final home as a massive piece of corporate art and advertising that's displayed in the lobby of the client's headquarters.

Our Solution

Putting these projects together takes special expertise, and there aren't a lot of quality vendors who can reliably do it well. Froth & Fur has become one of the industry's best, melding the technical with high-value storytelling chops to deliver moments that matter.

Results

This 3D billboard was the client's tradeshow show-stopper for two years. It was seen by tens of thousands of decision makers and attracted much more attention than a common "flat" video wall.

It was therefore unique and cost-effective, supporting several product launches and  rebrands simultaneously. What's more, this project reinforced the brand's history of innovation in the scientific community.

"
They were provided a story board and AV script for a 3D billboard that we needed to produce. The storyboard was fairly loose and left a lot open to interpretation, allowing them the freedom to integrate their vision and expertise into the project, which was greatly appreciated. The 2:30 long anamorphic video involved a series of simulations and optical illusions which required very specific projecting and lighting requirements, and had a very tight timeline to execute.

They were very responsive and their project management was one of the best experiences I have had. They were very communicative throughout the process, checked in on a regular basis, and their communication style was very transparent and honest.

I couldn't recommend Patrick and team enough for their high level of engagement, quality work, and friendliness. We will be using them again for future projects.
