Nonprofits like Baltimore/Washington D.C. based ABET need conference videos for their sophisticated and diverse audiences who expect high-end storytelling. Your story needs to feel "big", even when your budget isn't.
What's more, this film had to be formatted to fit a very wide, non-standard aspect ratio. We've done this before, but it definitely came with its own set of constraints.
Froth & Fur created this story-based conference film using stock media, 3D animation, and visual effects. First we worked with ABET on story, then we found ways to tell the story in an attention-getting, exciting way that helped kick-off the event at the San Diego, California Convention Center.
The film played as you entered the keynote theater, and again onstage to introduce the keynote speaker. It was a big success and a lot of fun for us to create.
As a nonprofit, we needed a high-quality video without the budget for a big production—and Patrick delivered above and beyond. He was professional, thoughtful, and truly took the time to understand our audience and mission. The video, themed around lifelong learning, beautifully incorporated diverse representations and will be a lasting asset for us. His communication was prompt and organized, timelines were met (and even exceeded), and the final product speaks for itself. We’re so grateful for his partnership and highly recommend him to any organization looking for exceptional work with heart.
