If you really want to be fancy, our in-house AR (Augmented Reality) team can add AR elements to these billboards that you unlock by scanning a QR code or visiting a special URL. This extends the 3D canvas and lets you bring a more interactive experience to these already amazing 3D billboards.
3D billboards use a concept called anamorphism and forced perspective to cause elements to "pop out" right at you. They really look convincing and require no special glasses- just stand in "the zone".
We made this one for a footwear company that we've worked with before. It's a 10 second ad on one of Times Square's best billboards. We use a standard 3D animation workflow plus some special projection mapping wizardry to make them work.
